All, Im looking at using a PIC for the first time, I have the PIC-Start programmer, and the CCS "C" compiler at my disposal, what I would like to do is this: I would like to use a PIC to build a box that would be controlled via RS-232, this box would generate DC voltages from +10 Vdc to -10Vdc, in reasonably small steps. I would like to control the speed of a large (1Hp) DC motor, and the controller takes +/- 10Vdc. My question is this: What is the best PIC for the job ? Are there any PICs that can generate bipolar analog voltages ? Can anyone reccomend a similar PIC based solution that has worked for them ? Thank You.
