Slightly off topic, but why doesn't NASA include a
microphone in these mars landers?  Sound digitization is certainly
cheaper and easier to do than video, and it would be interesting to
hear what was going on there!  (Wind, noises from miles off beyond
visual range, but within hearing distance)
