     The main address for the Jet Propulsion Labs at NASA is:
                www.jpl.nasa.gov

     If you start from there you can find out about the other missions they
     are/have have carried out. The mpfwww.jpl site is the main Mars
     PathFinder site.

     You could also look at robotics.jpl.nasa.gov for more about the team
     that built the rover!

Try http://mpfwww.jpl.nasa.gov  This was given on local TV as an alternative
to some of the other overloaded web sites.
I was told that the rover is controlled by an INTEL 8085.  You have to
remember that it was designed quite some time ago.
