Hello all you PICers out there!

I was wondering, has anyone tried to use the 16C84 as a asyn. serial
transceiver? What I need is two 16C84, one the transmitter and the
other the receiver, wich will be used as an optical communication
system. (Using Fiber Optic)

If you know anything about using async serial with the 16c84, please
let me know... Your help is greatly appreciated!
