     There was a suggestion on this list a week or so ago that Microchip
     had modified the 'A' parts to prevent this.  That is, the oscillator
     fuses in an OTP part cannot be modified.

     Now, I haven't checked this personally.  But make sure you don't get
     a nasty surprise with that next batch of 10,000 pcs 16C73A-04!
