How about the force that a magnetic field produces on a current-carrying wire? If the field were _REALLY_ strong, it could pull the connections apart inside. Also, the Hall effect would cause parts of the chip to become polarized when they shouldn't be. The field would probably have to be rediculously strong! Sean
