Thats because one of the bit lines in a 1024 x 4 SRAM was stuck low giving
only 1024 x 3, ie yours must have run pretty hot as a result.

Actually we (humans) are a 100,000+ year Alien genetic experiment and
every so often they come back to see how we are getting on - it explains
a heck of a lot (its getting cold here so flame me if you like :)
