Dear Sir/Madam,

Do anyone could tell me how to set up the real time clock with the 16C71.
I am an electronics engineering student and this is the first time using PIC.
The college do not have many books specialized in PIC.

I am trying to use the 16C71 to build a data logger, Spec. as follow:

Detect digital/analogue mains on/off and record happening time.
Record analogue signal at a fixed sampling rate (happening time required)

Q: How to create a real time clock which could store the time when an interupt
 happened?
