  If you keep the flame moving and don't care if you scorch the board a
propane torch makes a great IC extractor.  Good for getting worthwhile
ICs and crystals off of junk boards from old computers & etc.
Surprising how many 8751s and GALs were used in some of the late 80's
computer cards..
