Hi there
On my camcorder I noticed there is a endless rotary switch that
let you to set the clock change any other function. Basically you can
move the number up or down.

I took it in parts and noticed that the switch has 5 pins.

I need to know the Principe of this switch.
Could you explain how does it work?
why 5 pins do not you think 3 is enough?
