I simple removed the UART and pulled the parallel lines out to a small protoboard. I got the information from a Radio Electronics (I think) article called 'QUADI - Quick And Dirty Interface' from about 3-5 years ago. Sorry I don't know the date, but the idea worked, and the board was almost free. Easy access to the port from simple basic as well. -- Daniel Holt - Genetronics Inc. dholt@genetronics.com http://www.genetronics.com http://rohan.sdsu.edu/home/holt/index.html
