Hi Alboni
I had the same problem for some time till I discovered that you must
do the following purely by chance.
Go to Options>Development mode
and select the Editor only  check that you have the PIC 14000 selected
and read the device again then you will get different parameters in
your window just make shure you save the data as a hex file
or else it will still not help.And keep it in a safe place.

If you still don't come right let me know but I'm shure that is how I got
it right.
