After finding out that Needhams can't even say when they will support the PIC 16C924, I got to thinking there must be a way to program these on existing programmers. Since most of the PICs use the same serial programming algorithm, it seems like any similar PIC could be programmed by wiring an adapter socket to bring the programming pins to the correct locations. (such as an adapter to make a 16C924 look like a 16C74 to the programmer) Has anyone tried this? Bill
