I recently had a program to be burned by a vendor.
I compiled it using MPLAB and burned a part using picstart plus
I copied the checksum from the picstart screen onto the disk
The vendor used a promate and said the checksum was different.
But it burned OK.
Is this normal?  How can the two tools compute different checksums?
