If this is similar to the TAXI chipsets of a few years ago they will
be hard to get and also much more expensive than a PIC sollution.
For speeds greater than what a PIC can do the TAXI chips would certainly
be a usefull proposition.  They are also mode geared to BUS repeating
functions and as such are over kill for simple multiplexing.
