I think it is been on the market some while already,
not exactly the same but very close.

In "Natural Woners" (Westlake Center, Seattle, Washington)
I did see a LED scanned clock, few months ago already!
I suppose it is in sale nationwide.

Well it had no motor (it had to be put into motion by hand),
movement was left<>right not rotating, but a scanned clock anyway.
