Nop once you have the low lever functions there are no problems, in the matter of fact its very easy for PIC and not so easy for PC :) The code for Dallas 1-Wire is available, look at the common PIC pointers on the net and you find it, >Can anybody help me ? >Is te DS2404 interface chip something to use ??? no need to use any ionterface chip, on PIC and pullup (optional protection) is enough >Is PIC-BASIC to slow to programm in ?? Which one? Stamps are too slow by himself but there is a simple add on hardware for 1-wire to stamp interface. Other PIC basic variants should be fast enough. (Compilers) So MEL Basic Compiler asd FED Compiler (A pseudo compiler actually) should do it. >NB a very interessting site: http://www.iButton.com/iButtons/index.html >really great and the parts are very cheap, only the software...... > >Remko > > -- Silicon Studio Ltd. -- http://www.sistudio.com
