Tony, I'm not sure of your budget for your project, if any. However I'd like to recommend my favorite async library - Async Professional from Turbo Power Software. I'll qualify this recommendation in that I've only used the Pascal version of their products, which I have found to be excellent. The packages sell for under $200. I'm more familiar with the DOS library. What I liked about it was the first time I used it, it only took about five minutes for me to learn to use their routines enough that I could finish the program I was working on.
