Hello,
  This evening I programmed a PIC12C508-04/P OTP and blew the code
protection fuse.  I then read back the contents and saw that I could read
all the code up until address 040h.    I seem to remember hearing about
this in the past (about the code protection only working on addresses
above 040h), but while looking in the PIC12C5XX data sheet and see no
 mention of this fact.

   Is the code protection above the same for all the pics?
