Hi everyone.

A couple of days ago I wanted to order some 12C508 chips from my local
Microchip distributor (Sonotech). They told me that they hadn't any 12C508
chips anymore in stock and that they weren't going to get any until May?! A
few weeks ago I had no problem ordering these chips from them and now we
are told that the supply of 12C508 chips has completely dried up! They said
the reason for this is that Microchip can't produce them fast enough, the
demand is too high! Is this correct?

Damn, now I have to wait 3 months. Anyone know of a distributor which
still have bunch of them in stock?
