Hi Mark,

Radiometrix Ltd. in the U.K. make a low power UHF Data Transceiver radio
module capable of half duplex data transmission at speeds upto 40Kbit/s
over distances of 30 metres 'in building' and 120 metres open ground.

The module integrates a low power UHF FM transmitter and matching
superhet receiver.

The Euro version Bim -433F dimensions are h: 23 w: 34 d: 12 mm, with pin
spacing 2.54 mm. The module sells at 56.92 pounds.

At the moment I am integrating one such module with a PIC 16C64 for use
as an I2C transmitter/receiver unit. I believe Radiometrix  also make single
transmitter and receiver modules.
