I am currently prototyping a circuit with this part and have just finished a
fully Interrupt running RC5 decoder but it needs much cleaning up (It is my
first PIC project and was quite a task ;-) ) and I promise to send it to the
List when finished.

What bothers me with this IR receiver is that it HATES those small florescent
tubes used in desk lamps. The device does have a resistor and large tantal
capacitor on the supply and that does no help. Such a lamp at a 2m distance
makes reception impossible!

When I've cleaned up the 16C84 code I'll post it, this could be a few weeks,
PICing this is not my first hobby (prefer 4 legged creatures weighing aroung
half a ton on which I can sit and enjoy the view!)
