When I goto my "file" menu my "Download to memory"
is faded out. In fact under Picstart Plus everything except
"Enable Programmer" is faded out. Even after I go thru
"Enable Programmer" and close the window. Everything
under "Picstart Plus" is faded out. Does this mean my Picstart programmer is not
 being
recoginized by my computer?? Or does this mean the chip is dead.
Is there anyway to test if the computer recognizes my programmer???

    If I'm totally helpless.....press DELETE now.
