PR Designs published plans for a small data logger using a PIC16C71 and
a serial EEPROM in Micro Computer Journal, Sept/Oct '95 issue. It has 4
analog input channels, talks to a PC via RS232, etc. You can look up the
original article or you can get info/source code from PR Designs
