I'm looking at using a PIC in a IR transmitter / receiver project to
learn commands sent from my existing remotes, store the codes in
eeprom, to be later re-transmitted on demand by another PIC device.
(Basically an IR remote that can be programed with other remotes
codes, which can be controlled by other devices).

Has anyone done this before, or have any suggestions ?
