I suggest doing web searches at some of the chip manufacturers. The
digital cellular phone and consumer 900Mhz markets are very
attractive to the big chip makers. The other day I came up with
the following PDF docs:

900Mhz power amp, modulators, demodulators, 6 bit quadrature digitizer,
from Maxim (4 different chips). They all come with App Notes
of simple designs. And often they offer free sample chips.
