Rather than unsubscribe from the PicList for Christmas, just send
a message to LISTSERV@MITVMA.MIT.EDU with the following command in
the body of the message ...

    SET PICLIST NOMAIL

And when you return after Christmas, just send another message with
the following command in the body of the message ...

    SET PICLIST MAIL
