I know this will probably be a stupid question, but, how do you change the
data in the 'w' register when using MPLAB in software simulation mode.

I can change any ram/file address using the modify window (enter the
address then the value and click on Write) but when I try to change the w
register it remains unchanged (entering 'w' as the address, etc).  I have
tried what I think are all combinations without success.
