Here is a contest for the PIC list.

In the spirit of the season, I propose a contest to see who can produce the
cheapest, least number of parts, most elegant (hardware & software) PIC
based automatic Christmas tree watering device that is the least
susceptible to overflow and ruining of gifts placed under the tree. Entries
to be posted to the list and/or web pages. Judging to be done by the list
gurus. You may include lighting, music, message scrolling, etc. features if
you wish.
