A write speed of 50K would be great. Ramtron FRAM is available in I2C (100kbps or 400kbps) and SPI (2Mbpx) interfaces, in 2KB packages. The SPI arrangement would cost you 3 common bus pins (MOSI, MISO, SCK) plus one select (CS*) per chip. There is an addressable variety of the I2C part that lets you put up to 8 packages on the same bus, which costs you just 2 pins (SCL, SDA). Try www.ramtron.com, or (800)545-FRAM; I have purchased retail in the past from Lange Sales, (303)795-3600. > --Stephen Bannasch > Director of Technology, Concord Consortium > 37 Thoreau St., Concord, MA 01742 > tel: 508 371 3477, main number: 508 369 4367, fax: 508 371 0696 > mailto:stephen@concord.org, http://www.concord.org >
