Sorry about not being to clear. I want a few things as outlined below. 1 pic to pic ir comms (2 way) like an serial bus but ir instead of wires 2 home automation - a mac controlling a terminal, lighting and small robots (ir robots) this could be achieved with the mac modem port or adb either sending numeric codes to be later interpreted by the pic to carry out commands or route data to terminal or ir 3 a good mac adb joypad (a friend is prepared to make the mac software) 4 a serial switch to switch data from serial ports to modem, no2 above, interfaces, terminal etc The ir may be driven using normal serial on a carrier. Any thoughts/circuits? PC versions would be useful too as the tech department at school uses them and I have plans in mind for it too! Thanks Tim Bye the way has anyone entered a micromouse competition with pics. I am thinking of attempting this next year.
