Answer: MPLAB does not contain all the support for PICMASTER. You have to run pmr31000.exe to get the dll files. PMR31000.exe is available from the Microchip web page. -Brian- ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Help! PICMASTER asking for a dll thats not on my drive. Author: pic microcontroller discussion list at smtp Date: 12/9/96 10:03 AM Hello, I just installed my PICMASTER h/w. The PICMASTER development mode was grayed out until I went into c:\windows\mplab.ini and set installed=1 under the EMULATOR SUPPORT heading. I thought I was ready to go, but I'm getting the following file error: Cannot find MP17c42.dll. This is with MPLAB 3.12. A search on my harddrive shows that the file is not installed anywhere! I have 5 dlls under c:\mplab but none of those are chip specific. (I'm using a 17c43) Anybody know what's goin' on? Thanks in advance. -Brian-
