I also saw the article and would like to build one.  The parts they used are
surface mount and I would prefer through hole.  I tryed to find the parts at
several on-line distributors but was not able to.  I prefer the thru-hole
since I would want to wire wrap it rather than make a board.  The parts are
listed as:

HCF4060BM - 14 stage oscillator-divider
HCF40106BM - CMOS hex Schmitt Trigger

Any ideas?
