Subject:  Getting messages more than once!

Since the 2days that the messages stopped I have been recieving multiple
copies of every message (at first it was 4 copies, now down to 2)

what's happening? am I subscribed twice?
how can I fix it?
can the list maintainer fix it?
is it fixable?
