A file with extension *.tgz is a tar gzip file usually associated with
UNIX.  If you are using dos you need to get the tar.exe utility and use the
command:

tar -.xvf filename.tgz

to open the file.

If you are using UNIX you can use the command:

tar -zxvf filename.tgz
