I've got an Epson Stylus Color, and I use it to print my PCBs layouts
(transparencies at 720 dpi) to photo etch my boards, and it works
fine. The only problem you can have is to accurately trim the
print heads distance from the film to avoid parasite ink traces.

Another thing: you just need to wait at least 2 hours to have your
film really dry.
