I'd like to use a pic--either alone, or with a keeloq--for some car and
home-related automation and remote control.  The problem is that I want
to use RF rather than IR, but don't know a source of cheap, small
transmitters and receivers.  They'd need to be Part 15 compliant, I'd
guess.  The local electronics store sells some remote controls, but they
only have 2 buttons, and worse, a very limited, fixed access code,
whereas the keyloc has a constantly changing, long access code.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

I don't have a solution, but I admire the problem! :-) I hope you get some
good answers back!
