I'm drooling over the list that has the new 8 pin PIC parts on it. I'm looking at the PIC12C670/671. Eight pins, WITH AN A/D, and I'm thinking - JUST GIVE ME A PWM AND I'M IN FAT-CITY!!!! Hey Microchip - PUT A PWM AND THE A/D in one of the 8 pin parts. Then I could use it for my analog designs. A control system... In software... Initial conditions all programmed in... No weird boundary conditions... A couple of lines from the processor to synchronize it/reset it. If it sells for four - eight dollars I could even afford to design it in. Wow, I'm getting dizzy just thinking about it. I see little 8 pin parts everywhere :) Life is good. Jon Bertrand jonb@cirris.com
