No.  If a watchdog can be disabled in software (as can those of many
     of our competitors), a disturbance such as a power glitch can disable
     it.  Then it is not much of a watchdog!

Does anyone know if the watchdog timer can be disabled completely, in software.
Not just reset. I'd like to use the watchdog to prevent power-on lockup and then
to go away.
