I would like to measure wind speed, wind direction, and temperature with
a PIC and transmit all three using radio to another station (not terribly
far away).  At the receiving station (containing another PIC?), I would
like to use the weather information to control the actions of a
mechanical device.

I am just getting started with all this and understand Basic well enough
to get along.  I can learn assembly if I need to.  I'm looking at a Stamp
or '84 for the two controllers.

Would any of you know of some articles or books that have related
projects I could study to get a handle on what I need to do?  Or advice
on which controller to use?
