My pic16c74 is taking an incredible long time to erase
in my Dataerase II from digikey, which I heard was one of the best
I can buy. It needs almost two full 8 minute cycles to completely
erase its contents. I have to test to see if its erased by prompting
my ITU programmer software to read the contents of the eprom code into a file
and verifying that all memory is erased. I am making sure
that when setting the fuses to set code protection bits high (off)
Any hints or advice?
