-- [ From: Peter L. I am also doing a project with a 16c74. I am using TIMER1 in ASYNC mode for a Real Time Clock with an Epson watch crystal (32K) and it works very well indoors. I just followed AN582 - Low-Power Real Time Clock for the code. I did add code to keep track of the date as well as the time. I've been running indoors for a couple of weeks and my RTC is more accurate than a PC's RTC. The real test is when I start running in outdoors in a real environment. Good Luck Peter -- Peter L.
