Dan, "In fairness I suppose it's worth mentioning that very few people in Mexico City " or Monterrey knew about this seminars. It was practicaly a person to person invitation. In Monterrey all the people I knew that attended heard about the seminar from friends. And I heard about it in the PIClist. Nobody invited me. Anyway, the attendees where mostly not the correct crowd. There where a lot of salesman and even factory labor. There are more than 1,000 electronic engineers coming out each year from Monterrey's universities (Like the ITESM, one of the finest world-wide) and nobody invited them. And I agree with James Musselman that the seminar should have been more technical. I really didn't learn anything you could not easilly find out for yourself in the Data book or App.book. And the worst part is that I didn't even get a clock!!! :-) Rogerio At 09:56 AM 18/07/96 -0700, you wrote: >Dan Matthews wrote: >> >> >> James, >> >> You noted that the seminar was perhaps not as technical as you would >> have liked.
