I am relatively new to the work of PIC and after having played around with
the 16c84 successfully, I decided to try my hand at the 16C74/JW.  Last
night, while trying out Bojan Dobaj shareware programmer, I selected Code
Protect ON - from 0400h to 0fffh  by accident and realized after erasing the
chip that that I could not get any memory pass the 03FF mark to revert to 3FFF.

Please someone tell me how I can get it back!!! (I have paid good money for
this chip and have not had a chance to use it once yet)  I have read the
datasheet 15 times over to find a way to recover for my mistake but to no
avail...

Remembering that Jim Robertson (Newfound Electronics) had mentioned
something about code protect, I went back to his note that warns about this
but only for the A device, no mention of the plain C74...

Can anyone help?
