Beware of designing in these chips as supply is very erratic and at the moment there is a shortage of these devices (again). Beware of any modem chip that is aimed at the mainstream market (PC's) because the manufacturers discontinue them as soon as they have a fater version available. Rockwell seem to keep some of their slower chips on the market for a long time. Regards CdB
