I don't know how this relates to PIC microcontrollers, but any
high AC voltage on a metal sphere, in free air, which is
sufficient to cause corona discharge, will produce ozone.

        Ive never heard of an ozone producing bulb.  Can you give more info
about them?  How do they work?  Where do you get them?  Part Number?
