     Pete, I (probably generating confusion) refered to 5 "SPI type" modes
     in my orig msg.  SPI is actually a Motorola term.  Motorola defines 4
     SPI modes and National defines 2 Microwire modes.  Of these 6, 5 are
     actually logically unique.  These are the 5 modes we have implemented
     on our newer products.
