I have been working on a project that will include a 16C65 and two PIC14000s all interconnected with an I2C bus. I have been anxiously awaiting the release of MPLAB-SIM to begin coding and simulation. I downloaded it yesterday and unfortunately, none of the above is supported by MPLAB-SIM. I guess I'm not surprised that I2C is not supported, because it wasn't in the DOS simulator either. And the PIC14000 is still new, so that wasn't a big surprise either. But I am surprised that the 16C65 isn't supported because that was in the old simulator. Isn't this a step backward? I wonder why the 16C65 isn't in the new simulator? I suppose I can make progress using the 16C64 environment for awhile. Any ideas on when to expect a release that supports the PIC14000, and the I2C function? Dewey Davis
