"Welcome to the PICLIST" message, but left out the only sentence
that Daniel Bernando was interested in.  Here it is:

    You may leave  the list at any  time by sending a "SIGNOFF
    PICLIST" command to LISTSERV@MITVMA.BITNET (or
    LISTSERV@MITVMA.MIT.EDU).
