Hi everyone,
My question is not directly related to PICs (but who knows..) but to
recent discussions about IR detectors.
Has any one of you tired to build an IR modem?
What I have in mind is a connection to Internet. The link distance is some
300..400 meters. Would an IR laser diode (CD player type, 5mW)
do the job? The problem however is the fact that the link would need to face
against sun. Radio modem is out of question (cost and legal issues).
Any ideas?
